Erha has achieved the goal of creating a prototype of a linear proton accelerator, leading the company from Ruvo di Puglia area to the forefront of international proton therapy research\u200b<\/span><\/h3>\n

This morning at 11.30 am, the project \u201cEnhanced Radiotherapy with HAdrons\u201d (Erha) is presented at the Itel Telecomunicazioni headquarter in Ruvo di Puglia.<\/p>\n

Itel has achieved the goal of creating a prototype of a linear proton accelerator, leading the company to the forefront of international protontherapy research. Thanks to the investment of the Research and Innovation Fund (Ref), managed by Equiter spa, Erha will be able to continue in developping the use of technology for clinical application. The resources of the Rif Fund, approximately 14.9 million euros, will be allocated to Newco Linear Beam srl \u2013 beneficiary of the assets, know-how and intellectual property of the research results achieved so far \u2013 through equity and quasi-equity instruments . The investment plan cover a four-year time horizon of work.<\/p>\n

Antonio di Donato, managing authority of the MIUR Research and Innovation Pon 2014-20, Alessandro Apa, of the European Investment Bank (EIB), and Enrico Bertoni of Equiter spa will be present in the meeting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
